Your Patriot Act at Work

There is a scene in the movie The Money Pit, where something happens in the house he is trying to rebuild that has gone so far across the line into absurdity, and will be so expensive to fix that all Hanks’ character can do is laugh maniacally for two minutes.  There’s no reason even to despain anymore.  I am reminded of that scene when I get links to things like this on phone surveillance.
